📤 Trip reports & sharing

1. Share a trip

Shareable reports are a Premium feature. Phone: open the trip → Share. If the trip is private, riggr first asks whether to open it to your followers or to everyone — then hands the link to your phone's share sheet. Web: your trip page has 🔗 Copy share link and a View Report preview. The link looks like riggr.app/report/… and opens for anyone — no riggr account needed to look.

2. What the link shows — and to whom

Everyone with the link sees the recap: angler and boat, port and lake, dates, the day's totals — fish landed, strikes, pounds, species breakdown — plus the cover photo and gallery.

The full catch-by-catch log — times, lures, depths, speeds, trip notes, the AI summary — unlocks by how you shared it:

• You, the owner: always.
• Shared to followers: any signed-in riggr member can unlock it.
• Shared public: the recap and photos are free for all; the full log unlocks for Premium members.

What no viewer ever gets: coordinates. The report carries depths, speeds, and baits — not lat/lng. Your recorded route is off by default, and even if you flip share route on for a trip, the track shows only to you and your trusted contacts — never to a stranger holding the link.

3. AI trip summary

On your trip page, ✨ Generate AI Summary (Premium, phone and web) writes the day up from your data — the counts, the water you worked, what produced, the rigger range — and folds in your dictated day recap if you recorded one at End Trip. It becomes part of the report for unlocked viewers. Read it, then use it or don't — your call.

4. Save a trip as a PDF

For the frame, the fishing club, or the charter customer: Phone: trip page → 📄 Save this trip as a PDF — it opens a print view in your browser where Save as PDF does the rest (the link is short-lived; if it expires, just tap the button again). Web: 🖨 Save as PDF on your trip page — and on report pages — prints the same clean layout.

5. Where else your fishing shows up

• The map: catches you make public appear to other anglers for 7 days — at the precision you chose when logging (exact spot, or snapped to the nearest port). Followers-only catches show only to your followers, same 7-day window. Details in the map guide.
• Community Reports: public trip reports also surface in-app — on the phone, Home → Community Reports — so a good day at your port helps the next boat out.
